WHAT IS A DENTAL BRIDGE?

If one or a few of your teeth have fallen out, it's more than just a problem with appearance — missing teeth can cause your remaining teeth to shift unfavorably. This may result in more tension when biting, increased pain when you chew, or even difficulty speaking. A dental bridge restores the health and appearance of your smile by filling in spaces with a false tooth that is supported by either your natural teeth, dental implants, or both. At Dallas Dental Concierge, skilled dentist Dr. Melisa Christian offers bridges custom made with high-quality materials that will help to restore your smile. If you have gaps in your smile, schedule a consultative appointment with Dr. Christian to learn about your treatment options with a dental bridge.

HOW IS IT DONE?

Using the highly advanced iTero® digital scanning device, Dr. Christian will take accurate 3D impressions of your teeth so your customized bridge can be created. A temporary bridge may be placed while your final restoration is being crafted. As soon as your tooth replacement is ready, the needed areas of your mouth will be prepped with a numbing agent. Other anesthesia or sedation methods can be used for people suffering from any dental anxieties. Your custom bridge will either be glued into place or attached to implants, depending on the technique and bridge type selected during your consultation. Dr. Christian will adjust the position of your bridge so it's comfortable and remains in place.

Dental Bridge Restorations

Even if you don't mind the way your smile looks with a gap from a missing tooth, it can turn into long-term problems if you don't seek treatment. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Christian and her team to get more information about dental bridge restorations and the options that match your unique needs. Dallas Dental Concierge is proud to offer custom dental bridges that can help improve the appearance and health of your teeth.
